Who It's For

Suitable for adults with minor skin blemishes that are cosmetically bothersome. A consultation and assessment of each blemish is carried out before treatment.

Expected Results

Effective removal of the treated blemish, with skin healing smoothly in most cases. Results are typically permanent for the treated lesion.

Pre-care Advice

Arrive with clean skin. Do not apply creams or makeup to the treatment area. Inform Kirsten of any relevant medical history relating to the blemish.

After-care Advice

Keep the area clean and dry. Do not pick any scabs that form. Apply recommended aftercare product such as HYPO21. Avoid sun exposure and makeup on the treated area.

Downtime & Recovery

A small scab typically forms over the treated blemish and falls away naturally within 1 to 2 weeks.

Blemishes that appear suspicious or have changed in appearance should be assessed by a GP before treatment. Active skin infections, blood clotting disorders or pacemakers may be contraindications.

Side Effects & Risks

Temporary redness and scabbing at the treatment site. Rarely, minor scarring or pigmentation changes.

Can all skin blemishes be treated with advanced electrolysis?
Most common minor benign skin blemishes can be treated. Kirsten will assess each blemish individually before treatment. Any blemish that appears suspicious should be seen by a GP first.
