Frequently Asked Questions

Will my skin peel visibly after a chemical peel?
This depends on the type and strength of peel. Some peels cause light flaking while others involve more noticeable peeling over several days. Kirsten will advise you on what to expect for your specific peel.
Can chemical peels be used on darker skin tones?
Yes. Kirsten treats all skin tones and will select the most appropriate peel formulation and strength to minimise any risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin.
