Frequently Asked Questions

Is electrolysis more effective than laser for facial hair removal?
Electrolysis is the only method clinically proven to achieve permanent hair removal and works on all hair colours and skin tones. Laser is ineffective on blonde, white or grey hair and may not achieve permanent results. Many of Kirsten's clients come to her after finding laser insufficient.
Is electrolysis painful?
Most clients describe a mild stinging or heat sensation during treatment. Kirsten's experienced and gentle technique, combined with a calm and relaxing environment, helps keep clients comfortable throughout.
How long does it take to achieve permanent results?
This varies by individual, area and hair density. A consistent programme of sessions over several months is typically needed. Kirsten will give you a realistic assessment during your initial consultation.
