Microneedling and Skin Rejuvenation

Microneedling

60 mins Monthly

Who It's For

Ideal for anyone wanting to improve skin texture, firmness and tone, or reduce the appearance of fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation or enlarged pores. Suitability is confirmed at consultation, including for sensitive skin.

Expected Results

Smoother, firmer, more even and refreshed skin, with gradual improvement in scarring, pigmentation and fine lines over a recommended course of treatments as new collagen develops.

Pre-care Advice

Avoid retinoids, acids and other active skincare for around 5–7 days beforehand, and avoid sun exposure, sunbeds and fake tan. Do not book if you have active acne breakouts, cold sores or broken skin in the area. A consultation and, where relevant, patch test are carried out first.

After-care Advice

Avoid makeup, active skincare, heat, saunas, swimming and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours. Keep skin clean and hydrated, apply SPF diligently, and do not pick any flaking skin. Follow the full aftercare and course plan provided by your practitioner.

Downtime & Recovery

Short downtime — skin is typically pink or flushed for 24–48 hours, similar to mild sunburn, before settling. Most clients return to normal activities the next day with diligent SPF.

Contraindications

Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on active acne, infections, cold sores, eczema or broken skin, or with certain skin conditions or medications such as Roaccutane. All contraindications are assessed at consultation.

Side Effects & Risks

Temporary redness, warmth, tightness and light flaking are normal in the days after treatment as the skin renews. Minor pinpoint bleeding or bruising can occur; all risks are discussed at consultation.
