The UK Hair & Beauty Awards (HBA) is one of the leading recognition programmes for hair, beauty, nail and barber professionals across the United Kingdom. The awards celebrate outstanding skill, creativity and business excellence through a professional panel-judging process.

Categories

The 2026 edition features 31 categories organised across seven areas: Hair Awards (including Hair Stylist, Best Blonde, Hair Extensions, Colour Salon, Bridal, Colour Specialist, Mobile Stylist and Best Salon), Beauty Awards (including Beauty Therapist, New Talent, Brows, Entrepreneur, Salon Team and Education Excellence), Barber Awards (Barber of the Year and Barber Shop of the Year), Nail Awards (Nail Technician and Best Gel Nails), Aesthetics Awards, New Talent Awards and Salon & Business Awards.

How It Works

Entries are submitted online and evaluated by a professional judging panel. Judges assess entries on technical skill, presentation and overall quality. Special awards such as the HBA Choice Award and Industry Icon Award are also presented.

Awards Night

Winners are announced at the annual HBA Awards Night, a formal ceremony that brings together finalists, winners and industry professionals for an evening of celebration and networking.
