Expected Results

A consultation will take place to ensure we can meet your expectations but results can vary, depending on the condition of your lashes

Pre-care Advice

You MUST have a patch test before having lash extensions. This test remains valid for 6 months. Regardless of prior treatments elsewhere, we simply will not do this service without this. Schedule your patch test at least 48 hours in advance, though we recommend booking as early as possible, as reactions may take up to 5 days to surface.

Please clean your lashes with a lash extentions cleaner before your appointment

After-care Advice

Lash extensions are made of synthetic material to imitate your natural lash you will require maintenance procedures to maintain this affect.

We do everything we can to ensure the best lashes, but we also need you to follow strict aftercare.

To ensure your lashes stay their best be sure to follow the aftercare advice given below.

  • DO NOT get anything oil based near your eyes! Please bear in mind that oils can melt on to your eyes and cause issues. especially double wear foundations, setting sprays and cream eyeshadows.
  • You need to wash your lashes daily, please speak to your therapist about this, we sell these in store for very little cost.
  • For 2 days after treatment DO NOT steam bath, steam your face, swim or wash your face with hot water.
  • DO NOT attempt to perm or curl lash extensions.
  • DO NOT apply mascara or mascara remover containing oil.
  • DO NOT rub the eye area when washing your face. Always pat lashes dry after cleansing.
  • DO NOT apply makeup remover to your lashes.
  • DO NOT use a sauna or face steamer every day.
  • DO NOT attempt to remove your lashes at home, please consult your therapist for removal advice.
  • DO NOT apply strip lashes over the top of your lash extensions.
  • DO wash your lashes daily using a product recommended by your therapist.
  • DO brush your lashes on a regular basis.
  • Please also aware that lashes naturally shed daily and can sometimes shed more than usual (especially during Spring and in October). You may need to book in extra infill time during these times.

Side Effects & Risks

As with all treatments there are risks,

We take every measure possible to ensure your safety and use the best products we can but irritations can happen for many reasons. Because of this we need you to be aware of this before the treatment. Although its not the norm redness particularly to the eyes can happen, especially those with sensitive eyes. As a salon we cannot take responsibility to how your eyes react and despite carrying out patch tests reactions can still happen. As safe as the treatment is we are still using strong glues near the eye area that gives off fumes. This is not to scare anyone! its just to make you aware of the possibilities. This can also include bruises to the eye ball from pads rubbing and chemical burns (this will be seen as redness or soreness to the eyes) I promise all members of staff are fully trained and attend regular additional training and we are as safe as we can be :-) This is just an awareness policy

Frequently Asked Questions

Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Not when applied correctly. Our lash technicians are trained to maintain lash health by selecting the appropriate weight, length, and curl for your natural lashes. We also educate you on proper aftercare to preserve your lashes and extensions.
How long do extensions last?
Lash extensions typically last between 2–3 weeks before needing infills. Longevity depends on your natural lash cycle, aftercare, and lifestyle. Regular infills help maintain fullness and style.
What’s the difference between a lash lift and extensions?
A lash lift enhances your natural lashes by curling and lifting them to appear longer and more defined, without adding extensions. Extensions involve applying synthetic lashes to your natural ones for length and volume. We can help you decide which suits your goals.
