ILM Business Insider 2027 Brisbane

ILM Business Insider is a one-day business event for the beauty industry from International Lash Masters, taking place on Sunday 28 February 2027 at The Calile Hotel in Brisbane. It is a new, intimate format created around the business conversations the organisers believe the industry needs to be having right now.

A conversation, not a traditional conference

Forget the traditional conference format. ILM Business Insider is a more relaxed, conversational experience featuring live interviews, panel discussions, practical insights and honest conversations with people who understand what it takes to build, market and grow a business in today's beauty industry. The programme runs from 9:30am to 2:30pm, followed by an hour of canapés and networking.

Announced speakers

The announced guest speakers are Amy Williams, founder of Lash Prodigy; Celine McSweeney, founder of Brow Tribe; Deanna Campese, founder of International Lash Masters; Lucy Pallot, founder of Lash Rescue; Sharelle Louise of Miss Lash Studio; and Charmaine Schembri of Elevate It Marketing. More speakers are to be announced.

What will be discussed

Topics include the changing customer and how people discover, research and stay loyal to beauty businesses; marketing in 2027 across social media, search and paid advertising; e-commerce, retail and education as extra revenue streams; technology, automation and AI for small beauty businesses; and profitability, pricing, systems, team and scalability.

Who should attend

The event is for lash and brow artists, salon owners, educators and any beauty business owner who wants to grow beyond the treatment room. The room is capped at 100 seats so every guest can ask their questions, and when seats are gone there is no second session.
