Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses a device fitted with very fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, superficial injuries prompt the skin's natural repair response, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin over the following weeks and months. Practitioners typically use it to soften fine lines, refine skin texture and pore appearance, improve certain types of scarring, and give skin a fresher, more even look. It is usually carried out on the face, though the neck, chest and other areas can be treated.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a wellbeing practice that involves paying gentle, non-judgemental attention to the present moment, noticing your breath, body, thoughts and surroundings as they are. It can be practised informally during everyday activities or through more structured exercises such as breathing awareness, body scans and short meditations. In the UK it is offered by mindfulness teachers, wellbeing coaches and some therapists, often as one-to-one sessions, group courses or app-guided programmes.
Blood Testing
Private blood testing lets you check specific markers in a small sample of your blood, often for general health screening, monitoring a known condition, tracking nutrient levels, hormones, cholesterol or thyroid function. A sample is taken either by a finger-prick collection kit or, more commonly for wider panels, by a trained phlebotomist drawing blood from a vein in your arm. The sample is then analysed by a laboratory and you receive a report of your results.
