Chemical Peels

Skin peels

45 mins Monthly

Who It's For

Anyone wanting to improve pigmentation, fine lines, congestion, acne or dull, uneven skin. Suitable for most skin types and tones following a consultation and, where needed, skin preparation.

Expected Results

Skin looks brighter and more even, with gradual improvement in texture, pigmentation and breakouts over a course of peels. Some peeling or flaking in the days after is part of the process.

Pre-care Advice

Avoid retinoids, acids, waxing and sun exposure for several days beforehand. Follow any pre-peel skin preparation Sam recommends, and tell her about medication or recent treatments.

After-care Advice

Do not pick or peel flaking skin. Avoid heat, exercise, make-up and active ingredients for 24 to 48 hours, keep skin hydrated, and use SPF daily to protect the new skin.

Downtime & Recovery

Expect some flaking and sensitivity for a few days depending on the strength of the peel; most people continue as normal with SPF.

Contraindications

Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.

Peels may not be suitable during pregnancy, over active cold sores or infections, with certain medications such as roaccutane, or on very sensitive conditions. A consultation confirms suitability.

Side Effects & Risks

Redness, tightness, and flaking or light peeling for a few days are normal. Following aftercare reduces the risk of irritation or pigmentation.
