Dermal Fillers and Lip Enhancement

Fillers (medical)

45 mins Yearly

Who It's For

Ideal for anyone wanting subtle lip enhancement, restored volume, or refined definition of the cheeks, lips, chin or jawline, or softening of deeper static lines. Suitability is confirmed at a full consultation.

Expected Results

Natural-looking volume, definition and hydration, visible immediately and settling over 1–2 weeks. Results typically last 6–12 months depending on the product and area treated.

Pre-care Advice

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and, where medically appropriate, blood-thinning medicines and supplements to reduce bruising. Avoid other facial treatments beforehand, and mention any history of cold sores so preventative advice can be given.

After-care Advice

Avoid touching or massaging the area (unless advised), and avoid makeup, strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and extreme heat or cold for 24–48 hours. Stay hydrated and follow the full aftercare provided by your practitioner.

Downtime & Recovery

Little downtime — most clients return to normal activities the same day, though some swelling or bruising, particularly with lip treatments, may be visible for a few days.

Contraindications

Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on active skin infection or cold sores at the site, or with a known allergy to the filler ingredients. Certain medical conditions and medications are assessed at consultation.

Side Effects & Risks

Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising are common and settle within a few days to two weeks. Less common risks such as lumps or vascular complications are minimised by expert, medically-led technique and discussed fully at consultation.
