The 38th annual Contessa Awards take place on 8 November 2026 at the John W. H. Bassett Theatre, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto. The cocktail reception starts at 5pm and the ceremony at 7:45pm.
The Contessas are the Canadian Hairstylist of the Year Awards, run by Salon Magazine. Entries are judged anonymously by an independent panel of Canadian and international experts. The gala draws more than 1,000 guests and ends with an afterparty on site from about 10pm.
Gala tickets cost 199 Canadian dollars and include the cocktail reception, wine or beer, and food stations. Tickets are sold in advance only through Ticketor, with no sales on the night.
