About International Visionary Award 2026
Global artistic hair design competition supporting Fighting Leukaemia, featuring Cut & Colour, Mens, and Avant Garde categories with live showcase at the Alternative Hair Show.
The International Visionary Award is a global artistic hair design competition run by the Alternative Hair Charitable Foundation, celebrating originality and talent in hair artistry. Featuring three categories — Cut & Colour, Mens, and Avant Garde — finalist work is showcased on a live stage to industry professionals and media at the annual Alternative Hair Show.
All entry fees (GBP 50 per photograph) support Fighting Leukaemia through the Alternative Hair Charitable Foundation (Registered Charity 1147189). The competition features anonymous judging, and the IVA is now in its third decade as part of the Alternative Hair Show, traditionally held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
