Chemical Exfoliation (Peels)

A chemical peel uses a solution of acids to loosen and lift the outermost layers of skin, encouraging fresher cells to come through. It is a form of controlled exfoliation, and the depth of the peel decides both the result and the risks involved. Superficial peels use gentler alpha and beta hydroxy acids such as glycolic, lactic, mandelic or salicylic acid, and work mainly on the very surface to brighten dull skin, soften the look of uneven texture and support congested or oily skin.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation treatment that gently buffs away the outermost layer of dead skin cells to reveal fresher, smoother skin beneath. It is usually carried out in two ways: a crystal system that sprays fine particles across the skin while vacuuming them away, or a diamond-tipped wand that abrades the surface. Both are non-invasive and work only on the very top layers, so it is very different from deeper treatments such as microneedling or medical dermabrasion.

Upper Lip Waxing

Upper lip waxing is a quick, popular form of temporary hair removal that lifts fine to coarse hair from the root across the top lip. Warm (soft) or hot (hard) wax is applied to the small area, allowed to grip the hair, then removed to take the hairs with it. Because it removes hair below the surface, results usually last longer than shaving or depilatory creams, and regrowth often feels softer over time. Many people choose it for smooth skin ahead of make-up or simply for day-to-day confidence.

Enzyme Treatment

An enzyme treatment is a gentle, acid-free exfoliating facial that uses natural fruit enzymes, typically from papaya, pineapple or pumpkin, to loosen the bonds that hold dead skin cells on the surface. As those cells lift away, the skin can look brighter, feel smoother and absorb serums and moisturisers more readily.

Hollywood Waxing

A Hollywood wax removes all the hair from the intimate area, front to back, including the labia and the buttock area. It differs from a Brazilian, which usually leaves a small strip or triangle at the front. Warm or hot wax is applied to the skin and lifted away, taking the hair from the root, so regrowth is typically softer and slower than after shaving. Results usually last around three to six weeks depending on your natural hair cycle.
