About NAHA – North American Hairstyling Awards 2027
NAHA is North America's most prestigious professional beauty awards competition, run by the Professional Beauty Association since 1989, honouring excellence across hair, makeup and artistry in 16 categories.
The North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) is widely regarded as the most coveted professional beauty awards competition in North America, often referred to as the Oscars of the hairstyling industry. Established in 1989 and now in its 37th year, the awards honour excellence across hair, makeup, education and team-based artistry.
Organised by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), NAHA recognises outstanding work through portfolio-based entries across 16 categories, including the prestigious Hairstylist of the Year and Avant Garde awards. Entries are judged by leading industry professionals who evaluate creativity, technical skill and artistic vision.
The awards ceremony is held alongside Premiere Orlando, the largest beauty trade event in the Americas, featuring a formal evening gala that brings together the industry's most talented professionals. NAHA winners receive national and international recognition, establishing themselves among the elite of the professional beauty community.
